SEEK (CUNY Schools)
HEOP (Private Schools in NYS)
SEEK (CUNY Schools)
- To be considered students must check off that they want to be considered on the CUNY application (www.cuny.edu) and put in their family income and number of household members.
- Students will then be offered SEEK if they fit the academic and financial requirement
HEOP (Private Schools in NYS)
- Not EVERY private school in NYS offers HEOP (check out the list in the document below)
- To be considered students must indicate on their common app supplement for the school that they are interested (some may not ask and will use the financial data instead)
- The financial requirements are a bit below the EOP requirements (see below) and keep in mind that these schools require the CSS Profile, which needs both parents info even if they are divorced.
- If a student meets the academic qualifications they will be emailed or mailed an HEOP financial form to fill out and send back with their 2016 Taxes and W-2.

EOP (Public SUNY Schools)
- Every SUNY offers EOP. Students can indicate on their Common App supplement for each school that they would like to be considered. While the financial requirements are the same for each school, the academic are not.
- If a student seems to fit the academic profile they will be asked to fill out the EOP Financial Form. Most use the same form but some have their own that they will mail or can be downloaded on their site. The school will also want a copy of their 2016 tax forms and possibly a supplement essay.
